Needy Patients
Friends of Kijabe contributions serve as a gap insurance between what patients are able to pay and the total cost of care. Average contribution needed for a surgery is $1000, for a non-surgical treatment $250.
2022 budget goal is $250,000 USD to care for 250+ patients.

Medical Education
Kijabe Hospital is a training site for higher-degree (surgical/anesthesia subspecialties) and undergraduate programs (nursing/clinical officer). Sponsorship for subspecialty training is $25,000/year and for nursing/clinical officer programs is $2000/year.
2022 budget goal is $30,000 for nursing/clinical officer (12 students) and $100,000 for 4 sub-specialist doctors.

Operating Theatre
The current operating theatre project will increase capacity from 8 to 15 operating rooms, double PACU capacity, double education space, renovate locker rooms, provide family consultation rooms, reconfigure sterilization/sluice, new sewing storage space, connect to Bethany Kids upstairs.

Chapel
